More big news....It's a......

GIRL!!! Erin is getting a baby sister this spring!

She has no clue, but I've been pointing to my growing belly and saying "baby," so last night, in the tub, Erin pointed to her belly and said "Baby!" It was so cute!!!

We're in the process of decorating for Christmas, so I'll try to get some pictures of that and post a photo update soon!

Snow baby!

We got a whole inch of snow today! Since we actually have Erin's winter coat, snow pants and snow boots, we figured we'd try them out. She wasn't very sure about the outfit (as soon as we were back in the house, she said "out"), and even less certain about the snow. We only got about 10 minutes of outside time, but it was long enough to get pictures!

Tupperware!

Well, it's actually generic, but anyone with a toddler can attest to the bizarre fascination that the young children have with plastic and plastic containers. We have a basement full of toys, but the cabinet in the kitchen with the plastic containers is far more entertaining. Here is Erin with her favorite toy.

Last winter's hat

One night, I had to work late (Erin was home sick during the day), so Todd had Erin all to himself for the night. She found one of her hats from last winter and insisted on having it put on her head. It didn't quite fit.

Monkeying around with Daddy

Erin loves to dance. Anytime we put on any music, heck, the music on a commercial on tv is enough to get her to dance. She's got some odd dance moves, but she also likes to just mess around with Daddy. I finally had the camera out to get some shots of how crazy they can be together.

A couple of recent favorites

18 months really is a great age. Erin is learning new words every day, and just being so interactive and playful. Because of this, we've had some great photo ops lately. They don't fall under any one category, but they MUST be shared. Enjoy.

The Children's Museum

We took Erin to the Children's Museum for the first time, and oh my, she loved it! She loved crawling all over the Habitot and playing with the balls in the Ball O Rama exhibit. She only had the energy for the two exhibits before being ready for a nap. We even tried taking her to water exhibits, which I thought she'd love, but she just wanted to lie down on a bench. Poor girl. We'll definitely be going back.

Halloween

As you've seen before, Erin was a bee this year for Halloween. We still didn't let her have any candy to eat, but she did get to play with it this year. She loved just dragging her pumpkin bag around and taking the candy out and putting it back in. She also got some bubbles as a Halloween treat, and those were her absolute favorite. She was NOT a fan of the super cute headband.

Playing in the leaves

Erin loves the sound that crunching leaves make. She had a blast just wandering around outside in the leaves, playing with her ball, or trying to pick grass.

Wearing Daddy's shoes

Erin is now obsessed with shoes. Just like a girl. Well, one day, she decided she needed to try on Daddy's sneakers. Here is what followed.

Hallzooween

Since Halloween is never enough time to enjoy a cute costume, we went to the Halloween event at the Minnesota Zoo. Erin enjoyed spending time wandering around in her costume, checking out the scarecrows, and of course, the animals.
