Erin learned how to dip this weekend. She hasn't quite got the concept down (veggies are more than just a way to scoop up dip!), but it certainly made for some cute pictures, as she double fisted it with red pepper and cucumbers. Yum!

Trip to the Mall of America
This past weekend, we went to Underwater Adventures at Mall of America. Teachers can get a free annual membership, and we were able to upgrade to a dual membership (Erin is still free) for less than the cost of the two of us getting in! Erin had never been there before, and while she likes fish, she wasn't so sure about them swimming around her.
After our trip through the aquarium, we headed to lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. (They have a deal for a cheap kids meal for Underwater Adventures' members.)
Erin told us all about her experiences at the aquarium.
Then she enjoyed her first taste of jello....and it was blue. :)

Feely week!
Here are all the fun pictures from Feely week. They are all of Erin (or Erin and Todd), as she is the star of the show, and I'm the one taking the pictures.
Waking up the first day we were there, Hello Baby Bedhead.
eating breakfast
Hanging out in her tennis dress....Daddy even won the tennis tournament.
Playing on the beach in her jammies....it was inevitable that she'd go in.
On a boat ride. She hated the life jacket. We'll see how she does on the boat when we can get her a new life jacket.
Swimming in the lake with Daddy.
Showing off her pretty dress
Wearing Daddy's hat

Ice cream at Itasca
Todd, his cousin Jane, Erin and I went for a bike ride in Itasca state park. It was way harder than any of us anticipated and we were glad that we biked to Douglas Lodge so we could stop and get something to eat. We decided to split a blueberry sundae, and Erin was very excited about this.
She even tried to take the whole thing for herself.
But she dealt quite well with being fed since we didn't have a bib with us.
She also had a banana, that she disovered tastes far better licked off a plate.
